Learn German – document your progress

At VALENS LINGUA, you learn German in a practical, everyday-oriented way with your personal and professional goals in mind.

Our German courses from A1 to B2 are based on the competence descriptions of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Skills in listening, reading, writing, speaking and interaction are systematically developed and practised.

Competence record

Internal competence assessment

At the end of the respective course, you may take an internal VALENS LINGUA competence assessment.

After successful completion, you receive a VALENS LINGUA course and competence record.

It documents:

successful participation in the German course,
completion of the internal competence assessment,
the competence areas covered,
the achieved course and competence level (CEFR-oriented).

German for work

German for specific professional fields

We place particular importance on connecting German learning with professional practice.

In our job-related courses, participants practise German for specific fields of work and typical professional situations, for example:

care · warehouse · cleaning · kitchen · laundry · gardening · fence construction and other professional fields

Training includes work instructions, professional conversations, specialist and job-related vocabulary as well as spoken and written communication at work.

After successful internal competence assessment, a VALENS LINGUA certificate of job-related German competence may be issued.

External language examinations

The VALENS LINGUA course and competence record is an internal institute record. It does not automatically replace a certificate expressly required from an external examination organisation or an official language certificate required by an authority.
